The affected assembly facilities are:
- Bowling Green, Ky. (Chevrolet Corvette) for one week
- Detroit-Hamtramck (Buick LaCrosse midsize sedan, Cadillac TC6 large sedan, Chevy Volt compact hybrid, Chevy Impala large sedan) for three weeks
- Fairfax, Kan. (Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse midsize sedan) for three weeks
- Lansing, Mich. Grand River (Camaro sport coupe, Cadillac ATS sedan and coupe, and CTS sedan) for two weeks
- Lordstown, Ohio (Chevrolet Cruze small sedan) for one week
GM’s dealer inventories in the U.S. have ballooned to an eight-year high of more than 874,000 units, according to the News. That represents a nearly 90-day supply of unsold vehicles, about 50% above the norm.
