GM Sales Climb 8% in China

General Motors Co. and its partners sold 313,300 vehicles in China in March compared with 290,600 a year earlier.

Commercial minivehicle sales by the company's SAIC-GM-Wuling Automotive venture grew 8% to 159,700 units.

Demand for GM's Buick brand rose 12% to 78,800 units. Sales of Chevrolet models advanced 6% to 56,000 vehicles. Cadillac sales jumped 44% to 5,200.
