GM Sales Climb 12% in China

Buick brand sales grew 15% to 69,700 units, led by the brand's Excelle family of midsize cars. Chevrolet's volume expanded 8% to 59,000 vehicles, nearly half of them Cruze sedans. Cadillac sales surged 69% to 4,200 units.
SAIC-GM-Wuling's deliveries climbed 11% to 143,700 units. Shanghai GM hiked sales 13% to 133,000 vehicles. FAW-GM sold 5,400 commercial vehicles compared with about 4,300 units in October 2012.
Through the first 10 months of this year, sales by GM and its partners in China rose 11% to a record 2.59 million cars and trucks.
