GM Names New Sales Chiefs at Chevrolet, Buick

General Motors Co. has appointed Brian Sweeney, currently U.S. vice president of Buick-GMC sales and service to take the same job title at Chevrolet, effective March 1.

General Motors Co. has appointed Brian Sweeney, currently U.S. vice president of Buick-GMC sales and service to take the same job title at Chevrolet, effective March 1.

Sweeney will succeed Don Johnson, 56, who is retiring. Replacing Sweeney at Buick-GMC will be Duncan Aldred, currently serving in Europe as chairman and managing director of Vauxhall and CEO of Opel Ireland.

Sweeney and Aldred will report to Steve Hill, vice president of U.S. sales and service.
