General Motors Co. will be part of a delegation representing 50 American companies that will travel to Myanmar this week to scout trade and investment opportunities there, Reuters reports.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which is leading the group, says participants will meet with Myanmar executives and government officials in the capital of Yangon.
Last July the U.S. government eased restrictions on doing business in the country after it made political and economic reforms.
