U.K.-based specialty builder Ginetta Cars Ltd. has released images of its upcoming supercar ahead of next week’s public unveiling at the Geneva auto show.

Confirming earlier reports, Ginetta says the vehicle will be powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V-8 that generates 600 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The mid-engine rear-wheel-drive layout will be teamed with a 6-speed sequential transmission and carbon-fiber driveshaft. Top speed is listed at 200 mph.
Built on a carbon-fiber monocoque with a carbon-fiber body, the two-seater has a dry weight of just over 2,500 lbs. The weight is distributed nearly evenly (49:51 front-to-rear).
The car’s sleek design is accentuated by a massive rear wing and other features inspired by Ginetta's LMP racing cars. Aerodynamic downforce is said to be 829 lbs at 100 mph.
Designed for track driving, the car comes equipped with a racing harnesses, carbon-ceramic brakes, center-locking wheels and a rollover structure that Ginetta says is FIA-certified. Street-oriented amenities include power steering, traction control, air conditioning, parking sensors, a backup camera, wireless phone charging and 23.8 cu-ft of cargo space.
