Genesis released a darkened image of a partially covered 2020 model that shows several tweaks to the front end. The makeover features a wider grille and dual bar headlights with slim LED accents that extend toward the fenders.
Some updates are expected at the rear of the car. But the G90’s current powertrain—a choice between a 3.3-liter V-6 or 5.0-liter V-8, each mated with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission—likely will be maintained.
The first-generation G9 was launched in 2016. The 2020 model is due to bow later this month in South Korea, where it is known as the EQ900.
