Former Visteon CEO to Head Superior Industries

Donald Stebbins, who was ousted as CEO of Visteon Corp. in 2012, has been named CEO of California-based wheelmaker Superior Industries International Inc. His new job begins on May 5.

At Visteon, Stebbins pushed an expansionary strategy to broaden its business base. But some board members wanted the company to simplify its operations instead. Stebbins was replaced in October 2012 by Tim Leuliette, who has focused the company on electronic components, interiors and climate control systems through a series of sales and acquisitions.

Stebbins succeeds Steven Borick, who retired as Superior's CEO at the end of March.
