Former Magneti Marelli Exec Named CEO at Varroc Lighting

Stephane Vedie has been named CEO of Plymouth, Mich.-based Varroc Lighting Systems Inc., effective immediately. He formerly was president and CEO of Magneti Marelli Holding USA.

Vedie succeeds Jeff Stevenson, who served as president of Varroc Lighting since the company’s formation in 2012. India’s Varroc Group created the unit when it acquired Visteon Corp.’s lighting business in a $92 million cash deal.

Varroc Lighting operates production plants in China, Czech Republic, India and Mexico. The company specializes in adaptive headlight beams, LED taillamps and other advanced exterior lighting technologies.
