Jack McNulty, a former White House speechwriter and later head of public relations for General Motors Co., died in Florida on Nov. 11 at age 86, Automotive News reports.
Jack McNulty, a former White House speechwriter and later head of public relations for General Motors Co., died in Florida on Nov. 11 at age 86, Automotive News reports.
McNulty joined the White House staff in 1964 and was a staff assistant and speechwriter for President Lyndon Johnson between 1966 and 1968 before moving to GM.
He took charge of GM's PR staff in 1979 and retired from the company in 1990.
