Ford’s Sales in China Grow 14%

Car and light truck sales in China by Ford Motor Co. and its joint ventures rose 14% to a record 107,600 units last month.

October retail deliveries by Changan Ford expanded 10% to 82,400 vehicles. Sales of commercial vehicles by Jiangling Motor Corp. jumped 29% to 23,900 units.

Combined volume through the first 10 months of 2016 totaled 966,200 units compared with 878,800 vehicles in the same period last year. Ford predicts record full-year sales in 2016.
