Instead, the companies will conduct a conference call with reporters that is expected to be about collaborating on commercial vans, French news service AFP says.
Ford and VW have been in intensive negotiations for several days to finalize the more sweeping nonequity partnership in time to tell reporters about it today. A Ford spokesperson tells AFP the companies may have more to reveal later this week.
