Ford Motor Co. plans a one-week production suspension in Michigan of three models to align supplies with demand, Automotive News reports.

Ford says the cutbacks will affect the company's factories in Flat Rock (Fusion sedan) and Wayne (Focus small car and C-Max MPV).

Ford's U.S. dealers have a 100-day supply of Focus and C-Max models and an 88-day supply of Fusions, according to AN. The industry considers a 60-day supply normal.
