Ford to Provide Free Traffic Reports for Five Years

Ford Motor Co. will offer a free five-year subscription to SiriusXM's in-car traffic and travel services in all 2015 Ford-brand models equipped with a navigation system.

The satellite-delivered services track traffic speeds in major metro areas, flag construction and other disruptions to traffic flow and help guide drivers to alternate routes.

The system also posts fuel prices from area filling stations, reports weather conditions, displays weather maps and can posts sports scores and can summon up movie listings for local movie theaters.

Ford says customers also will get a free six-month subscription to SirusXM's premium programming.
