Ford to Add Edge Production in Russia
Ford Motor Co. and its Moscow-based partner OJSC Sollers will begin producing the Ford Edge crossover at their factory in Tatarstan, Russia, early next year.
Ford Motor Co. and its Moscow-based partner OJSC Sollers will begin producing the Ford Edge crossover at their factory in Tatarstan, Russia, early next year.
Ford said in May it would begin making the EcoSport mini-SUV in Russia in 2014 at a second plant in Tatarstan.
The joint venture, which was formed in late 2011, already makes the Kuga crossover, Explorer SUV, S-MAX MPV, Galaxy minivan, Transit commercial van, Tourneo Custom large van, Focus small sedan and Mondeo midsize sedan.
