Ford Sales in Europe Grow 12%
Ford Motor Co. reports its March sales across Europe advanced 12% to 157,900 units in March and ended the first quarter of 2014 at 326,100 units, up 11% compared with the same period last year.

March results were driven by big gains in Ford's two biggest national markets, the U.K. (+13% to 74,700 units) and Germany (+19% to 21,800). The company says its market share improved 0.2 points to 8.9% in March and 0.3 points to 8.0% for the January-March period.
Ford's best-selling model in March and the first quarter of the year was the Fiesta, which accounted for 28% and 26%, respectively, of total volume for the two periods.
