Ford Motor Co. reports its sales in China last month grew 17% to a record 124,100 units. Volume totaled nearly 1.1 million vehicles through the first 11 months of the year, up 11% year on year.

SUV/crossover sales jumped 73% in November. But car sales soared too, climbing 50% for the Ford Escort small sedan and 28% for the Focus sedan.

Sales by Changan Ford Automobile gained 14% to 96,200 units last month and 14% to 739,500 vehicles for the year to date. Volume by Ford’s Jiangling Motor Corp. commercial venture climbed 29% to 26,300 units in November and 5% to 232,900 vehicles through the first 11 months of 2016.
