Ford Motor Co. is calling back 202,300 of its F-150 fullsize pickup trucks and midsize Explorer SUVs in North America to fix front seat bolts that could loosen or fall out, thereby raising the risk of injury in a crash.
The recall targets power seats in 2016 versions of both models. The flaw involves upper pivot bolts in the seat adjuster mechanism.
Ford says dealers will either use a threadlock material to secure the bolts or replace them and perhaps other components.
