Ford Motor Co. is calling back 1.38 million of its 2014-2018 model Ford Fusion (pictured) and Lincoln MKZ sedans with steering wheels that could fall off.
Dealers will install a longer bolt and a larger nylon bolt seating surface. The company reports two crashes and one injury attributed to the defect.
The affected vehicles were produced at factories in Flat Rock, Mich., and Hermosillo, Mexico.
