Ford Motor Co. plans to reveal a U.S. version of its EcoSport mini-crossover vehicle on Monday ahead of the Los Angeles auto show.
Ford has marketed the EcoSport in Europe for several years. Earlier this year the company said it is preparing four all-new crossovers for its Ford and Lincoln brands in the U.S. Each marque currently offers four SUV/crossovers.
The EcoSport, which has been updated for 2017, would join the lineups below the midsize Ford Edge and Lincoln MKC models. Reports of the little car’s U.S. debut first surfaced in February.
Ford also showed the EcoSport on Tuesday at Brazil’s Sao Paulo auto show. The company hasn’t yet indicated when the model will go on sale in the U.S.
