Ford Motor Co. has appointed David Woodhouse to oversee design for the company's Lincoln brand, Bloomberg News reports.
He replaces Max Wolff, who will remain as head of Lincoln exterior design. The unannounced shuffle was posted on Lincoln's media Web page in February.
Woodhouse was hired from General Motors Co. in 1999 to lead design for Ford's now disbanded Premier Automotive Group (Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo). He previously was chief designer at Ford's strategic design studios in London and California.
Wolff also was hired from GM and has been credited with Lincoln's current design look.
