Ford Motor Co. plans to suspend output of B-Max small MPVs in Craiova, Romania, for 13 days in October because of weak demand for the model in Europe.
The cut follows a seven-day production stoppage this month due to slow sales. Ford tells Reuters the factory also may adjust volumes in November and December "depending on the market's evolution."
The B-Max is Ford's fourth-best seller in Europe, but demand has been flat this year, according to the company.
