Ford CEO Mulally Staying at Least Through 2014

CEO Alan Mulally reiterates that he plans to remain at the helm of Ford Motor Co. at least through next year.

Mulally, 67, also told shareholders at Ford's annual meeting that the decision ultimately rests with Chairman Bill Ford Jr. Bill Ford has repeatedly said he'd like Mulally to stay as long as possible.

The company appointed Ford veteran Mark Fields to chief operating officer last year, thus making him the presumed front-runner to succeed Mulally.
