Floods Disrupt Porsche SUV, Sedan Production

Porsche AG says floods in northern Europe have forced it to suspend production of Cayenne SUVs and Panamera sedans in Leipzig, Germany.

The Volkswagen AG unit reports that floodwaters have disrupted rail shipments of components from supplier operations in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The Leipzig plant normally builds 450 vehicles per day. BMW AG, which makes the 1 Series small car in Leipzig, says those operations have not been affected by the regional floods.
