Toyota Motor Corp. is launching a pair of recalls in the U.S. to fix fuel leaks that could cause an underhood fire.
The larger campaign targets 11,800 of the company’s 2018 model Camry midsize sedans. Toyota says fuel pipes and hoses within the engine compartment may have been improperly connected.
Toyota also is recalling a combined 9,000 Lexus high-performance models to replace a pair of fuel pumps whose covers could become damaged and leak. The callback involves 2015-2018 model RC luxury sedans, 2016-2018 model GS F sport sedans and 2018 model LC 500 sport coupes.
