Fiat SpA says it won't participate in next year's Italian auto show in Milan because of the country's continuing auto sales slump.
This year's event, which had been scheduled for December in Bologna, was canceled because of a lack of interest among would-be exhibitors. Organizers announced last week they would move the show to Milan for a 10-day run in mid-December 2014.
Fiat says that, at least for now, it will get the European exposure it needs by displaying at the Geneva, Frankfurt and Paris shows.
