Sales rose in all five of the region’s largest truck markets. Deliveries advanced in France (+4% to 40,000 units), Germany (+4% to 26,400), Italy (+6% to 26,400), Spain (+18% to 19,500) and the U.K. (+1% to 16,900).
Light commercial truck volume expanded 6% to 149,000 vehicles last month. Demand for heavy-duty trucks advanced 3% to 22,900 units.
ACEA says sales through the first two months of 2018 totaled 373,700 units, up 7% compared with the same period last year.
