GS&P replaces Wieden & Kennedy, which held the account for six years and is best known for its “Imported from Detroit” television spots. W&K lost FCA’s Dodge account to GS&P in May.
Ad Age says FCA’s spending in the U.S. on measured media for Chrysler fell 28% to $151 million. Sales of Chrysler brand cars in the market have plunged 50% this year as demand shifts from cars to trucks, including Chrysler's Pacifica minivan.
