Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV confirms it has chosen its engine plant in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, to produce two new gasoline engines beginning in 2018.

The 1.0-liter 3-cylinder and 1.3-liter 4-cylinder units will join 2-cylinder and 1.3-liter diesel configurations currently built there. FCA says both new engines will generate segment-leading torque and comply with current and future European emission standards.
