General Motors Co. is recalling 51,600 crossovers to reprogram engine control software that could cause an overly optimistic fuel gauge reading.
GM says the problem could show the fuel tank as much as one-quarter full when it's actually empty.
The recall covers 2014 model Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia crossovers. Dealers will recalibrate the engine control module.
