Ford Super Duty: Let It Snow
Ford says it has best-in-class snowplow rating
According to the National Weather Service’s forecast for today, “Heavy snow and ice will lead to dangerous travel from the Plains to New England.” Which makes Ford’s announcement of the capabilities of the 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty all the more timely.
Fitted with the optional Snow Plow Prep Package, the truck has a 1,400-pound snow plow rating accounting for mounting hardware, which makes it best-in-class for gasoline-powered trucks in the segment.

Said Mike Pruitt, Ford F-Series Super Duty chief engineer, “With our new Snow Plow Prep Package, we’re really delivering for folks who clear the way after a big storm.”
Like what the midsection of the nation will be/is getting.
The package, available for 4x4 pickups, features heavy-duty springs and an up-rated alternator.
The gas engines available are two V8s, a 6.2-liter (base engine) and a new 430-hp, 475 lb-ft of torque 7.3-liter engine.
The Super Duty is being manufactured at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky, and the Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, Ohio.
The trucks are on their way to dealers right now.
Perhaps right now is an ideal time to get one.
