Experian Appoints New Auto Unit Chief

Dublin, Ireland-based information services firm Experian plc has promoted John Gray, senior vice president of sales at its Experian Automotive unit, to president of that business, effective immediately.

Gray takes over from Scott Waldron, who added the presidency of the auto unit to his duties as head of Experian's vertical markets group a year ago. Waldron will remain president of vertical markets, which includes Experian Automotive.

Gray joined the auto data operation in 2006 as vice president of sales and client services. He was previously general manager of the manufacturing business at software provider Siebel Systems, a subsidiary of Oracle Corp.
