Ex-Ford Purchasing Chief Joins Tower International Board

Tony Brown, the former head of global purchasing at Ford Motor Co., will join the board of Livonia, Mich.-based Tower International Inc. on April 1.

Brown directed Ford purchasing for 11 years before retiring last August. He also is a board director at ConAgra Foods and 3M.

Tower is a $2.1 billion global supplier of automotive structural assemblies with 29 plants in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
