Eaton Names Faria to Head Vehicle Group
Joao Faria has been named president of Eaton Corp.’s Vehicle Group, effective May 1.
Joao Faria has been named president of Eaton Corp.’s Vehicle Group, effective May 1. He currently heads the company’s electrical business in Latin America.
Faria will succeed Kenneth Davis, who plans to retire on Aug. 1 after six years in the position. In his new role, Faria will be responsible for Eaton’s global engine and powertrain product operations for passenger and commercial vehicles.
Faria joined Eaton 30 years ago as a materials engineer at a truck plant in Brazil. He holds a degree in materials engineering from Sao Carlos Federal University and master’s degrees in both engineering and business administration from the University of Sao Paulo.
