Denso Buys Half of German Image Recognition Company

Denso, which is 23% owned by Toyota Motor Corp., says it will use Adasens' expertise to accelerate its own development of image recognition technologies. The companies expect to finalize the deal by year-end.
Weissenberg-based Adasens is wholly owned by Spain's Fiscosa International SA, a maker of driver assist systems, gearshift mechanisms, rearview mirrors and other vehicle components.
