De Ficchy to Head Nissan Operations in Europe

Nissan Motor Co. has chosen Gianluca de Ficchy to head is European business, effective April 1.

De Ficchy currently is CEO of RCI Bank and Services, which is the financial services unit of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance. The Italian succeeds Paul Wilcox, who is leaving the company for personal reasons, according to Nissan.

De Ficchy began his career at consultants Ernst & Young in 1994. He joined Renault in 2001 as chief financial officer of RCI Banque Italy. He has headed RCi Bank since 2014.
