Cooper Standard Holdings Inc. plans to move its global headquarters from Novi, Mich., to nearby Northville in early 2020.

The company is constructing a 110,000-sq-ft facility in Northville that will house about 400 people. Cooper Standard was awarded a $1.3 million performance-based grant for the project under the Michigan Business Development Program.

Cooper Standard recently has relocated several other global facilities to support the company’s growth. This includes a new Japan headquarters and engineering center that was opened in September. Last year the company moved its Michigan technology center from Farmington Hills to a larger site in nearby Livonia.

Cooper Standard supplies the auto industry with sealing, fuel and brake delivery, fluid transfer and anti-vibration products.
