Cooper Standard Holdings Inc. has opened a new Global Technology Center in Livonia, Mich.

The 137,750 sq-ft facility is significantly larger than Cooper Standard’s former technical center in nearby Farmington Hills. This allows the company to consolidate its innovation and development teams under one roof with the expertise to take products from material development to production.

The new center will support all Cooper Standard’s product lines (sealing, fuel and brake delivery, fluid transfer and anti-vibration systems). Capabilities include material science, tooling, development, production and validation.
