Kia Motors Corp. says it will call its upcoming compact crossover the Seltos.

The name is derived from Celtos, the son of Hercules in Greek mythology. Kia says the switch from a “C” to an “S” indicates the new model’s speed and sportiness.

The carmaker also released a new teaser image of the Seltos, which will be publicly unveiled later this month. Sales are due to start in South Korea by year-end, followed by launches in the U.S. and other markets in 2020.

Kia says the entry-level crossover is designed for tech-savvy millennials with features such as a 10.25-inch infotainment screen. Previous sketches showed a tall stance highlighted by an updated version of Kia’s signature “tiger nose” grille.
