PSA Peugeot Citroen will introduce a production version of its Wild Rubis SUV/crossover concept on Sunday at the Beijing auto show.
The vehicle, to be called the DS 6WR, will be made and sold exclusively in China as the latest addition to Citroen's upscale DS brand.
The front-end styling of the DS 6WR resembles Citroen's DS5 "executive" small car and the new DS 5LS luxury performance sedan also debuting at the Beijing show.
ANE says the new crossover will be built in Shenzhen in the factory PSA and partner Changan Automobile Group Co. opened last September. The DS 6WR will have a conventional front-drive powertrain, not the hybrid system in the Wild Rubis concept vehicle. All-wheel drive won't be offered.
