PSA Peugeot Citroen plans to offer its new Citroen C4 Cactus crossover with a unique leasing scheme that helps customers manage the monthly cost of the vehicle, says Automotive News Europe.

PSA will reveal details of the program on Tuesday at the Geneva auto show. ANE says the plan is likely to involve a base lease rate and a monthly surcharge that goes up or down depending on how many kilometers the vehicle is driven.

The program enables customers avoid a big adjustment charge at the end of the lease if they exceed the number of kilometers allowed.

ANE says Citroen also will offer a fixed, all-inclusive lease plan that includes the cost of financing, insurance and maintenance.
