Chrysler Group LLC has halved minivan output at its Windsor, Ont., plant this week to shrink excess inventories.

The factory will return to regular production next week, according to Chrysler. The company idled the facility for two days last month because of parts shortages.

U.S. sales of the Chrysler Town & Country dipped 11% to 18,600 units in February. Dodge Grand Caravan volume slid 18% to 10,400 units last month. On March 1 Chrysler had 69- and 43-day supplies of those models, respectively, Automotive News reports.
