Chrysler Reveals Photos of All-New Cherokee

Chrysler Group LLC will publicly introduce the all-new 2014 Cherokee SUV at the New York auto show late next month.

The company released official photos of the vehicle on Friday after spy shots were posted online earlier in the day.

Chrysler says the sleekly designed Cherokee will deliver more than 45% better fuel economy than the boxy Jeep Liberty SUV it replaces. Details about the SUV will be presented at its formal unveiling on March 27.

The Cherokee will go into production in May and should reach U.S. dealer showrooms in the third quarter.
