Chrysler Pays Marchionne $1.1 Million in Stock, Options

Chrysler-Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne was awarded $929,000 of Chrysler stock options and $200,000 of deferred stock awards for the company's performance in 2012.

Chrysler-Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne was awarded $929,000 of Chrysler stock options and $200,000 of deferred stock awards for the company's performance in 2012.

Marchionne also got received perks worth $102,400, according to the company's annual report to U.S. securities regulators. But he continues to eschew a cash salary or bonus from Chrysler, as he has since taking the helm in 2009. Marchionne receives a salary and bonus from Fiat.

Chrysler also disclosed 2012 compensation for its four other most highly paid executives:

General Counsel Holly Leese received total compensation of $4.1 million including a $485,000 salary and $312,100 bonus.

CFO Richard Palmer earned $3.7 million last year, including a $650,000 salary and $474,400 bonus.

Human resources chief Nancy Ray was paid $3.3 million, including salary and bonus of $829,100.

Michael Manley, head of international operations and the Jeep brand, received $3 million, including $999,000 in salary and bonus.
