Chinese carmaker Zotye Automobile International Co. plans to launch U.S. sales of its T600 compact crossover by the end of 2020 or early 2021.

The current T600, which is about the size of a Honda CR-V crossover, debuted in China in 2013. An updated version was displayed at last month’s Shanghai auto show.
The American version will be powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Pricing hasn’t been announced.
Zotye began signing up U.S. dealers earlier this year and aims to have 300 onboard by the time sales are launched. The company also plans to later introduce a larger crossover and a sedan in the U.S.
