China’s Used-Car Sales Expand 4%

Sales of used passenger cars in China rose 4% year on year to 9.27 million units in January-August, according to the China Automobile Dealers Assn.

CADA says the sales totaled 588 billion yuan ($82 billion). The association compiles its data by monitoring approved used-car trading markets.

Analysts have predicted that the value of China’s used-car market will surpass 2 trillion yuan ($280 billion) by 2025.
