China’s Qoros Targets Europe for 10% of Sales

The company a joint venture between Chery Automobile Co. and Tel Aviv-based Israel Corp. introduced its €21,000 ($28,700) Qoros 3 sedan in Slovakia several months ago.
A five-door hatch variant is due later this year, and the company plans to add a crossover and four-wheel-drive SUV for the European market. Qoros has been co-developing its cars with Magna Steyr in Austria.
Stefano Villanti, who heads Qoros sales, tells Automotive News Europe the company intends to expand sales in eastern Europe, then add the Nordic countries before spreading throughout Europe in 2016.
