General Motors Co. says the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500 HD pickup trucks will be larger and feature bolder styling than the current models.

Chevy released a teaser image of the 2020 Silverado 3500 this week. The front-end shows the heavy-duty vehicle will eschew Chevy’s iconic bowtie badge in favor of "Chevrolet" spelled out across the grille bar.

Other styling cues include the LED headlight treatment introduced by the 2019 Silverado 1500 fullsize pickup that was unveiled earlier this year.

Road testing of the 2500/3400 trucks is due to start soon, with production slated to begin in the third quarter of 2019 at GM’s Flint, Mich., assembly plant. In addition to the Silverado 1500, Chevy is launching the all-new 4500, 5500 and 6500 HD medium-duty range later this year.
