The Chevrolet Bolt all-electric sedan has been proclaimed Motor Trend magazine’s 2017 Car of the Year.

The $37,500 Bolt, which will go on sale late this year, outscored the Audi A4 small sedan, Jaguar XE sport sedan and Chrysler Pacifica minivan in the final round of evaluation. The contenders were scored on their design, engineering, efficiency, safety, value and performance.

MT also declared the Ford F-150 Super Duty pickup truck as its 2017 Truck of the Year. The magazine says the truck won by a wide margin over the category’s only other finalist: the redesigned Honda Ridgeline.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC Class won MT’s 2017 SUV of the Year award. The magazine praises the vehicle’s styling, sumptuous interior, advanced engineering and overall value. The GLC outscored the Audi Q7, GMC Acadia, Jaguar F-Pace, Mazda CX-9 and Tesla Model X.
