Car Sales in Turkey Fall 19%

Sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey fell 19% to 60,200 units in June from 74,100 units a year earlier, reports the country's Automotive Distribution Assn.

Combined sales through the first six months of 2014 dropped 25% to 286,900 units.

Year-on-year demand in June fell to 47,300 units from 58,300 for cars and to 12,900 from 15,800 for commercial vehicles, according to the trade group.
